    of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not more than $500.00 or by imprisonment in the City Jail not exceeding six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Section 7. Each of the provisions of this ordinance are severable, and if any provision shall be declared to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall not be affected but shall remain in full force and effect. Section 8. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 9. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its final reading and adop­tion, and final publication as in the next section provided. Section 10. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its first reading and adoption, in the Las Vegas Review Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas. ORDINANCE NO. 487 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION IV, OF ORDINANCE NO. 378 ALSO REFERRED TO AS SECTION 10, CHAPTER 24, OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, BY AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAP ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, AND CHANGING THE ZONE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS ON THE SAID MAP. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: Section 1. The Land Use Plan May adopted by Section IV of Ordinance No. 378, also referred to as Section 10, Chapter 24, Code of the City of Las Vegas, 1949, is hereby amended to read as follows: (A) From R-1 to R-4 East 140 feet of the west 350 feet of the NE¼ of the SW¼, Section 3, T 21 S, R 61 E, MDE&M, extending between Oakey Boulevard and St. Louis Street which is Lots 1 to 7, inclusive, Block C, and Lots 1 to 13, inclusive, Block D of the Beverly Green Tract.
