of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not more than $500.00 or by imprisonment in the City Jail not exceeding six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Section 7. Each of the provisions of this ordinance are severable, and if any provision shall be declared to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall not be affected but shall remain in full force and effect. Section 8. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 9. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its final reading and adop­tion, and final publication as in the next section provided. Section 10. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its first reading and adoption, in the Las Vegas Review Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas.
