I agree.i 7 C July 30, I92S* nj if a * t-t'-j Eyjj-fVw Mr. T. J, Keenan: In connection with various Interstate Commerce and C aliforn ia Railroad Commission hearings: The carriers frequently encounter rate comparisons where the earnings are figured on a minimum weight basis, which basis may not in a ll instances be proper due to an average loading fa r in excess of the minimum weights. Pursuant to our conversation I would appreciate therefore i f you would furnish me a statement showing the average weights of the 175 commodities which you state are kept by the units of the Union P acific System, the statement to show the average weights of these commodities on the various units and the average weights for the Union P a cific System as a whole. I would lik e i f possible to have this statement on le tt e r-s iz e paper and to be furnished with not less than six copies, in order that I may furnish copies to the T ra ffic Department and possibly to Mr. Armstrong fo r preparation of his operating testimony in these cases.
