No. 11342-1 THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, made this ^pth day of November, 1954, by LOS ANGELES & SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY and its lessee, UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, Utah corporations (hereinafter collectively called "Railroad Companies"), LAS VEGAS LAND AND WATER COMPANY, a Nevada corporation (said Railroad Companies and the last named company being hereinafter collectively called "First Parties"), and LAS VEGAS VALLEY WATER DISTRICT, a public corporation created and existing pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 1 6 7 of the 1947 Statutes of Nevada as a-mended by Chapter 130 of the 1949 Statutes of Nevada, Second Party (hereinafter called "District"). RECITALS Pursuant to Agreement dated June 1, 1953* between the parties hereto First Parties have sold and transferred to the District the water production and distribution system at Las Vegas, Nevada. In accordance with the provisions of subparagraph (k) of Section 1 of said agreement the Railroad Companies granted to the District easements for the construction, maintenance, operation, repair and replacement of certain existing and proposed pipe lines for the conveyance of water. Said easements include an easement, 20 feet in width, in location shown by red line between points marked "K" and "M" upon the map hereto attached, marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof. It is pro-posed that the District shall relinquish the said easement shown by red line on Exhibit "A" and that the Railroad Companies shall grant to the District in lieu thereof easements, 15 feet in width, 1 .
