Water Supply: Las Vegas - April 27th, 1934. W 23-3 Mr. E. E. Bennett, General Attorney, Los Angeles, Calif. Dear Sir: When the original purchase of the Las Vegas Ranch was made by William A. Clark from Mrs. Helen J. Stewart and heirs in 1902, of approximately 1800 acres, there was an agreement made at that time through Attorney C. o. Will you kindly look over past records of the deed and agreement and advise me if there is any specified point where we should carry this water to; if we are required to carry it onto the burial plot, we will have to maintain in the present open ditch possibly 8 or 10 inches in order to give them the required amount as per agreement. It is true there are, I believe, about four graves in this 4-acre plot, but the water being used
