An accurate statement of the amount of water con­sumed so far this year ie not available, as the master meter was out of order in May and June, but we have made daily measurements of the amount of water in the reservoir each morning since May 30th, which reflects that all of the water being produced from the wells and springs ie being used. I show below the measurements since June 38th, on which date fire destroyed one of the WPA buildings on the West Side, requiring considerable water to save the other buildings in that vicinity, and since which time we have not had a full reservoir;
