Reinhardt I am submitting herewith copy of letter from Mr, A, H, Kennedy, Acting City Manager, to me, dated June 17# 1953# relative to vacation of a portion of Charleston Blvd. between 10th Street and 15th Street, which requests that the Mater Company take immediate steps to remove its water main from the vacated area to a location within the limits of remaining dedicated portion of Charleston HIvd,, which will be 100 feet wide. of Permit granted the Las Vegas Land and Mater Company, The Permit referred to by Mr, Kennedy is covered by our Contract Audit dated February 25# 1930# copy of which may be found in Mr, Bates* files in your office. of a new line on Charleston HIvd, to replace the line which the City has requested removed. Unless you can see some provision in the contract whereby we can avoid the expense of relocating the existing line and will so advise, I will oomplete the estimate and submit it together with detailed plans to Mr, Reinhardt and Mr, Campbell of the District for their approvals. Mr, Kennedy also directs our attention to Paragraph 2 I am preparing the detail plan covering the construction please advise.
