    %? the Land A Water Company known as Cates Street, for a distanoe of 300 feet more or lees, situate in Lot 1* Tract W 7 # as per map recorded in Book 115, pages 13 and 14 of Waps, records of Los Angeles Comity, State of California! this power line being desired in order to serve plant of the West Coast Foundry Company, to which company we recent* ly sold the plant site. Accordingly, agreement dated December 7, 1927 was executed by Mr. Calvin, giving the M i son Company the right to construct said power line under conditions as set forth in the contract, which latter may be cancelled upon sixty days written notice. Whereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was, by unanimous vote, RESOLVEDi That the action of the President in executing and delivering above mentioned agreement, be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. The Secretary explained to the Board that the South* «*n California Edison Company had requested permission to install a power transmission line westerly from Gerhart Street, approximately 800 feet, along the north side of what will be dedicated as Union Pacific Avenue, which property is situate in Lot 3, Tract 7207, County of Los Angeles, State of Califor­nia and owned by the Las Vegas Land and Water Company! this power transmission line being desired in order to supply light, heat and power to plant of the Pacific Goodrich Rubber Company. Accordingly, agreement dated January 14, 1928 was prepared, extending permission to the Edison Company covering construction of power transmission line in the property above mentioned, which agreement may be cancelled upon sixty days* written notice. Whereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was, by unanimous vote, RESOLVED! That the action of the President and Secretary
