163-K Los Angeles, March 1 9 , 19 53 Mr. L . R . Maag: (cc - Mr. Wm. Reinhardt) Referring to your letter of March 16, 1953, regarding indebtedness of Willard V. Keen to LVL&WCo. for room rent in the amount of $157.50: I do not know whether Mr. Keen is currently in the employ of the Railroad Company. I would rather doubt this in view of the bringing of the lawsuit. However, if he is employed by the Railroad Company, it would seem that you might well use the deduction order enclosed with your letter to effect collection. If this is unsuccessful, bringing suit against him and garnisheeing his wages might bring some results. I see no objection to either course.
