    Los Angeles, April 28, 1949 1-7334 Mr. Reinhardt: Re application of Nomellini Construction Co. af-pllon-fcfcfflr for water service to Paradise Village Tract, Las Vegas and with particular reference to refund provision: The California Water Service Co. which operates in the San Joaquin and Sacramento Valley areas including as well as several areas in Southern California including advises that its regulations in connection with subdivision work provide Subdivider shall deposit estimated cost of water lines subject to refund at its option on the following bases: 1. 35/6 df revenue from sale of water to consumers within Tract during following 10 year period \ \ 2. 76' at average installation cost for each consumer within Tract connecting to mains within following 10 year period provided such consumer receives water service for three co'nsecutlve months. I am advised by Mr, Gamy, Local Manager, that their refund provision #2 was recently adopted and is more favorable than allowed by any other water service company operating iri the state, so far as he has been able to ascertain. The Southern California Water Co., which operates in the vicinity of Sacramento and through Ventura Co,, Sunland, Monrovia, Artesla, Bell, Venice, Culver City and South Los Angeles areas, advises that it refunds only on basis of 35/6 of revenue during following 10 year period.
