Perkins) Referring to attached LAA8L Work Order Authority for constructing 1,520 ft . of 12" transits pipe water line from well No. 8 to settling basin serving Charleston Boulevard reservoir at Las Vegas. I am somewhat puzzled as to the necessity for this work as LA&SL AFE No. 6l (19^5 Series), for the drilling of well No. 11 and construction of 1,500,000 gallon reservoir and various water lines, contemplated a 1^" transits pipe water line from well No. 8 to the settling basin.
