iron water main in said Fifteenth Street approximately 275 feet to the intersection of Fifteenth Street and Sweeney Avenue, thence westerly in Sveeney Avenue -with a 6W cast iron water main approximately 5^5 feet to,a connection with and existing 6” cast iron water main at the easterly line of the Hvmtridge Subdivision. The estimated eost of constructing said water mains is the sum of TWO THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE & NO/lOO ($2,789.00) DOLLARS. 2. $aid water main shall be constructed of 6" cast iron pipe and shall be in accordance with AWWA specifications. All joints be of cement and all pipe shall be new B 85 S cast iron, equal to AWWA Class 150. All fittings shall be new, all bell, cast iron equal to AWWA Class 150, and all valve boxes shall be of cast iron of appropriate size for each valve. Unless otherwise provided by the approval of a duly authorized representative of the Company, all pipes, vales and fittings shall be manufactured by Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company or Mueller Company. All pipe lines shall be chlorinated in accordance with AWWA specifications, shall be subject to the approval and acceptance of State and City Health Authorities, and shall be constructed at an elevation to be designated by a duly authorized representative of the Company, but in no event shall there be less than 36" of covering over such water mains. All workmanship, material and the installation of said water main shall be subject to the approval and acceptance by a duly authorized representative of the company. 3. To furnish the Company easements, satisfactory in form, where pipe lines are to be laid in other than dedicated streets and alleys, said easements to be five feet on each side of the center line of said pipe line. To furnish a bill of sale for said water mains, conveying to the Company all right, title and interest in the said water mains free and clear of all liens and encumbrances. - 2 - /f-87 ? ' ~ -v
