Thornton, Vice regent, Norman Baxter, treasurer, and W. J. Stev­enson/ Mrs. Stevenson and Mrs. Thorn­ton reported on the 38th annual state conference, DAR, held in ‘Las Vegas. Mrs. Paul Rabe gave a talk ? on the DAR magazine, stressing the policy, purpose and impor­tance of the magazine promoting the DAR three-fold objectives, historic preservation, promotion of education and patriotic endeav­or. • She also spoke on its dedication 2*to “ cherish, maintain and extend the institution of America’s free­dom by describing and picturing American parks and historic shrines and publishing articles on the flag, constitution and pending legislation.” . Mr. Kubota was assisted by A1 Kelly a member of the training group.
