Sparkling Starz out of this world LAVISH, colourful and pure entertainment escapism only begins to describe the musical fantasy of Starz that had such breath-taking impact on its opening night last week: ..;;'.?╟≤. Currently appearing in the International Showroom of the Conrad International Hotel and Jiipiters Casino at Broadbeach, Starz is a show that definitely sparkles. The audience is taken on an incredible journey through time from the cosmic future of 2020, to the grand canal of Venice in 1762, the Australian outback of 1896, ritzy New York of 1936, sultry Spain of 1880, gay Paree of 1901 and back to home ground in Australia with musical tributes to our own 'greats' between 1965 to 1985. And all those who have visited beautiful Paris will feel a tug of nostalgia as Starz presents the glittering lights of the French city complete withthe Eiffel Tower. While Starz is a globe trotting extravaganza, its finale stirs the very soul of every 'True Blue'. Peter Allen's 1 Still Call Australia Home' is presented by the entire company in red, white and blue marching down a full size staircase in gala Hollywood fashion. (Continued on Next Page)
