JUNE, 1920 / I Docket No. 104.— Coal, Sacking inJTransit at St. Louis, Mo., points east of the Illinois-Indiana State Line, to points in Western Trunk Line territory. Present, no arrangement, shipments being assessed on basis of local rates in and out of St. Louis, M o.; proposed, see__ Docket Advice dated May 6, 1920. (See Standing Rate Committee’s report dated June 2, 1920.) The following propositions were presented but not concurred in by all lines: | Recommended that the report of the Standing Rate Committee, recommending against the establishment of the arrangement above referred to, be approved with the understanding that the matter be referred to the Trans-Continental Freight Bureau Lines for consideration, with a view to securing cancellation of any arrangements now in effect at St. Louis on Trans-Continental traffic. Recommended, that storage in transit arrangements be established on Coal from points east of the Illinois-Indiana State Line to points in Western Trunk Line Territory, which will permit holding car for seventy-two (72) hours for the purpose of sacking coal and reforwarding to destination at balance. Of the through rate. Docket No. 105.— Stone, Crushed, or Broken Marble,.-Ishpeming, Mich., to Sioux Falls, S. D. Present, 35% cents (Class E ); proposed, 15 cents per 100 lbs., minimum weight 90% of marked capacity of car but not less than 40,000 lbs. (See Standing Rate Committee’s report dated June 2, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the' Standing Rate Committee which contemplates establishment of rate of 21%. cents per 100 lbs. on Crushed Stone or Broken Marble, carloads, minimum weight 90% of marked capacity of car-but not'less than 40,000 lbs. from Ishpeming/Mich., to Sioux Falls, S. D. Effective October 25, 1929, as announced in Rate Advice No. 3. Docket No. 106.— Shells, Mussel, not crushed nor ground, in packages or in bulk, C. L., minimum weight 40,000 lbs., Memphis, Tenn. (on shipments when from beyond). Keokuk, la. Montrose, la. Burlington, la. To *Oquawka, 111. Memphis, Mo. L., Memphis, Tenn. (on shipments from beyond), to Canton, Mo., Columbus Jet., Fort Madison, Iowa, La Grange, Louisiana, Mo., Boynton’s Gravel Pit, Davenport, Dubuque, Iowa, etc. Present minimums range from 24,000 to 30,000 lbs.; proposed minimum, 40,000 lbs. (See Standing Rate Committee’s report dated June 11, 1920.) Approved recommenation of the Standing Rate Committee, which contemplates establishment of minimum weight of 40,000 lbs. in connection with present rates on Mussel Shells, not crushed nor ground, in packages or m bulk, carloads, from Memphis, Tenn. (on shipments from beyond), to Canton, Mo., Columbus Jet:, Fort Madison, Iowa, La Grange, Louisiana, Mo., Boynton’s Gravel Pit, Davenport, Dubuque, Fruitland, Garden City (Louica County), Grand View, Hahns Switch, Melon Spur, Muscatine, Round House and Wapello (M. B. & S.), Iowa. .See Rate Advice No. 3, announcing publication by Agent F. L. Speiden. Docket No. 109.—Lumber and articles taking same rates and differentials higher, also Wooden Railroad Ties, between points in Missouri on State and Interstate traffic. Present, rates via some lines are now based on rates provided for in F. R. A. 22895; proposed, distance rates, provided in F. R. A. 22895. (See Standing Rate Committee’ s report dated June 14, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee as follows: That carriers which have not amended their tariffs in line with Freight Rate Authority No. 22895 take such action as is necessary to bring them in line with the provisions thereof. Effective October 25, 1920, as announced in Rate Advice No. 3. Note—This announcement later suspended (see Amendment No. 5 to Rate Advice No. 3). Docket^ No. 110,—Veneering, C. L., Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin points to C. F. A territory. Present, rates based on following arbitraries: When the Pine Lumber rate is 23% cents per 100 lbs., add 1% cents per 100 lbs.; when Pine Lumber rate is over 23% cents, add 1 cent per 100 lbs.; proposed, rates on basis of 5th Class. Cancellation of arbitraries applying on Veneering, as published in Item 5-B, Sup. 13, W. F. T. B. Tar. 21-B, I. C. C. A-870. (See Standing Rate Committee’ s report dated June 7, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee, which recommends against establishment of the change above referred to. Docket No. 111.—Veneer, Bird’ s Eye Maple, from and to points in Michigan, State and Interstate; from or to points in Wisconsin, Interstate; from points in Minnesota, interstate. Present, Class B basis; proposed, 23% cents per 100 lbs. or less, proposed to add arbitrary of 1% cents per 100 lbs.; over 23% cents per 100 lbs., proposed to add arbitrary of 1 cent per 100 lbs.
