Gory: I sent you a copy of "Instructions Concerning the Handling of Railroad Business Mail" dated September 25, 1947, signed by Mr. H. 0. Porgy, Manager, Mail, Baggage and Express Traffic. Mr, Bennewitz has recently written me regarding transmission of certain documents to him which he felt should have been sent by United States mail as they were not related to "Railroad Company*s current railroad business" as expressed in numbered paragraph 3 on'page 2 of Mr. Porgy * s letter. I gather from Mr. Bennewitz*s letter that it Is his interpretation of Mr. Porgy‘s letter that a matter relating solely tb the Las Vegas Land and Water Company should be handled by United States mail with Omaha or with Los Angeles and you will therefore baedv igsoevde.rned accordingly until you are further 32.
