    Las Vegas - September 28, 1951 Mr# Ha* Reinhardts Attached Is article published this morning in the Revimt~Jo u m a l concerning proposed new housing project by Federal Hoses Development# This is the development X mentioned to you & short time ago in which Carl Hyde is interested# The proposed site consisting of 160 sores Is located Immediately west of our water field and north of Charleston Blvd. The property is located within the City limits and is probably in excess of 50 feet above the elevation of our Charleston Reservoir# About 3 months ago, a Mr# Corey, whs stated he was associated with Mr# Hyde in the development of this parcel, advised they planned to subdivide into one to five acre sites but did not plan on building homes# Mr# Corey asked about water to serve the property and was advised we would construct lines under the then existing Rule $UA# It now appears a housing project is contem­plated which will necessitate rescuing of the property# In view of the change granted to the Subdivider of the Westleigh Addition, the variance will undoubtedly be granted by City Authorities.
