IN CONSTRUCTION, HANDSOME IN APPEARANCE, EVERLASTING IN SERVICE »»»»»»»»»» COSTS LESS An installation of Mueller STREAMLINE Copper Tube and Fittings in the average residence buildings costs no more, in the great majority of cases, than galvanized iron and a great deal less than brass' pipe and fittings. In large buildings it may cost more than an iron installation, but, if its everlasting life and high salvage value is taken into consideration the cost is much lower. THREADLESS USING AN AGE-OLD PRINCIPLE FOR MAKING A PLUMBING INSTALLATION AS MODERN AS TOMORROW The method of making a connection with a Mueller STREAMLINE Fitting to Mueller STREAMLINE Copper Tube is by soldering, using Mueller Special Solder, the blow torch, and the application of the natural law of capillary attraction. The fitting is placed on the pipe where required, after a suitable solder paste or flux has been applied, heated uniformly with a blow torch and wire solder fed in at convenient openings for the purpose. The solder is drawn around evenly In the joint by capillary action and in a few moments the connection has been completed. The solder will flow up, down or laterally with equal facility, and the plumber installing a pipe in the upper opening of a tee, for instance, has no more difficulty than in the down or side outlets. Copyright, -1930, by Mueller Brass Co. STREAMLINE Copper Tube is not connected by threading or flaring and consequently does not require the heavy wall of brass and iron pipe. A STREAMLINE joint is the strongest part in the installation. REQUIRES LESS SPACE A STREAMLINE fitting, although enormously strong, is very little larger than the tube itself. No room is required for wrench grip. It may be placed close up to walls or ceiling. CANNOT RUST STREAMLINE CopperTube and Fittings cannot rust. The flow capacity remains the same fpreveSH LESS HEAT LOSS A Mueller STREAMLINE installation radiates very little heat and in hot water lines, steam lines, etc., can be very often installed without insulation.. Under ordinary conditions a copper surface radiates only about one-ninth as much heat as a corresponding unpainted steel surface such as that of commercial pipe. Copper itself is a rapid conductor of heat, therefore much less heat is Tost when conveyed from the point of generation to the points of distribution, nanHHMHngH PERFECT A STREAMLINE INSTALLATION C1VES A LIFETIME OF SERVICE
