Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved the request of Henry C. Remoliff to move the Saratoga Race Book from 114 South 1st to 17 Fremont be tabled until the State Tax Commission has taken action on the application. Commissioner Sharp moved the claim of Peter Dixon for damages of $3,000.00 for injuries received when he fell in an unsighted sewer ditch located in the alley between Madison and Jefferson and D and F Streets be denied. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioners Fountain and Sharp, committee for recommendation on the proposed ordinance to adopt the 1955 Edition of the Plumbing Code requested additional time before reporting. Commissioners Bunker and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the pro­posed ordinance providing for 2nd Inspection Fees requested additional time before reporting. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PLANNING AND ZONING ORDI­NANCE KNOWN AS CHAPTER 24 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, 1949, SECTION 20 PROVIDING FOR THE USES OF LAND IN A C-1 ZONE; REQUIRING PROVISION FOR OFF- STREET PARKING; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH, having been reported on favor­ably by Commissioners Sharp and Whipple, was read in full to the Board.
