I f this water systea can he acquired upon reason­able terms, it seems to me the desirable thing to do. How­ever, as stated to you o rally today, I fe e l that these people should f i r s t pay amounts owing the Las Vegas Land and Water Company, for water already furnished the Wardie Addition. Mr. Buzick probably has an idea he can bring this purchase to a head more quickly by declining to pay our b i l l s fo r water already delivered. There is no ju s t i f i ­cation fo r such attitude upon his part. I f he w ill make a reasonable proposal covering the sale of his water system, we w i ll immediately present it fo r consideration of our executives, but in doing that we should be in position to say that these people have paid our water b i l l s promptly.
