Please refer to Mr. Knickerbocker’s letter under date of October 17th, to Mr. Barry, copy to you, regarding water furnished Las Vegas Land and later Company* Please advise just how you are handling the situation at that point with reference to these meters at the present time, that is, whose duty is it to see that all meters are kept in repair and have positive instructions been issued that this be done so that we can get correct readings of the meters in connection with the water being furnished the Las Vegas Land and Water Company without the necessity of estimating as has been necessary for sometime in the past. It is very important that these meters be kept in good condition and that careful attention is paid to the reading of same. B. H.
