I thank you for sending this to me, the photograph particularly "being noted with much interest. I hope now that parties who have been fortunate enough to strike water in that sec­tion will utilize it to best possible advantage; which recalls that I am net advised as to what use has been made of the flowing wells in vicinity of Las Vegas. I remember that at one time it was ex­pected considerable agricultural development would follow in the wake of these wells.
