STANLEY RUNYAN CLAIM Commissioner Clark moved that the claim of Stanley Runyan in the sum of $12,465.12 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same; that the sum of $6,237.50 be held until such time as the work on the central swimming pool has been completed to the satisfaction of the City. ORDINANCE No. 334 An Ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE 'LAS VEGAS Recreation Council RECREATIONAL COUNCIL'; PROVIDING FOR ITS ORGANIZATION AND GOVERN- MENT, AND THE APPOINTMENT OF ITS MEMBERS: DEFINING ITS POWERS AND AUTHORITY; PRESCRIBING ITS DUTIES; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO," was read to the Board by title and thereafter referred to Commissioners Clark and Whipple for recommendation at the next regular meeting. ORDINANCE No. 335 An Ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL SECTION 11 of Gaming ORDINANCE NO. 325 OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS ENTITLED, 'AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT GAMING AND THE OPERATION OF SLOT MACHINES IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING A LICENSE THEREFORE: REGULATING THE SAME; FIXING THE AMOUNT OF LICENSE; PROVIDING THE PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF; AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NOS. 77, 82,88, 103, 116, 165, 245, 271, 287 and 319 AND ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO'," was read to the Board by title and referred to Commissioners Baskin and Moore for recommendation at the next regular meeting. Kaufield of $451.34 for the construction of sidewalks as required by bid #47.25 be accepted as it is the lowest bid received.
