Investment Securities RUSS BUILDING ?╟≤ SAN FRANCISCO 4 ?╟≤ YUkon 6-2332 August 30, 1955 Mr. A1 Friedman Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr. Friedman: Our mutual friend, Hunt Bennett of Time magazine, has told me that you can supply me with a letter from the Sands that will serve to cover, the second prize as shown on the enclosed ticket. I understand about the reservation situation and am really not concerned with that so much as just getting a letter stating the winner is entitled to seven days* stay at the Sands Hotel. The winner, of course, will have to make his own arrange- ments as to when or where he would do so with your reservation office there, but as I said, this is not my personal concern. If you win let me know what the approximate amount would be for the seven days* stay with meals,they will get a credit for the amount to cover. I I am deeply appreciative of this favor as the tickets were printed without the proper arrangements having been made by me and I must get myself "off the hook" prior to the drawing on September 10th.
