The horse is slowly moving ACROSS STAGE. The road traveller is moving in reverse order showing the town ?╟≤ disappearing, the Oregon country side, Echo Pass and mountains. ADAM &s You made a right fittin' bride, Hilly. MILLY I hope so, Adam. I never was a bride before. (ADAMlaughs he art ily) What I meant was, I don't feel like much of a bride in my everyday dress. It's about all I got.* ADAM You'll find a trunk in the attack belonged to my mother. There's things there, if you're handy with a needle,, MILLY I'd like that. I'd like to be wearing something that belonged to your mother. (She holds out a little bundle of envelopes.
