UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY RAL CONDITIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR DRILLING ONE 16 INCH ROTARY DRILLED GRAVEL PACKED WATER WILL APPROXIMATELY SCO FEET DEEP IN RAILROAD COMPANY'S YARD AT LAS VEGAS, NEVADA SECTION NO. 1 - GENERAL CONDITIONS: The General Conditions as hereinafter set forth shall apply to all Specifications used in connection with this work. COMPANY ENGINEER AND CONTRACTOR DEFINED* The word "Company" shall designate the Union Pacific Railroad Companyo The word "Engineer" shall designate the Chief Engineer of the Union Pacific Railroad Company cr his authorized representative, and the word "Contractor", the contracting party to whom work is awarded. WORK INCLUDES? The Contractor shall furnish all necessary materials, superintendence, labor, tools, plant equipment, and means of construction for and to drill, finish and complete one gravel packed water well at Las Vegas, Nevada, in the most expeditious, substantial and workmanlike manner to the satisfaction of the Engineer, using rotary drilling method CONTRACTOR TO EXAMINE SITE: Before submitting his proposal and bid for this work. Contractor shall examine the existing site and familiarize himself with local conditions. SURVEYING SITS? The Engineer will survey the well site, setting all necessary stakes, all elevations, permanent bench marks, etc. The Contractor shall provide all equipment required for the execution and completion of the work, including all staging, scaffolding, apparatus, tools, etc., which are necessary for the proper execution of this lob.
