Absent: Commissioners Jarrett and Whipple. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of the Eldorado Club Inc., dba Horseshoe Club, 128 Fremont for additional gaming licenses for the third quarter of 1951 of 1 Faro and 1 Big 6 Wheel be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole, and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Jarrett and Whipple. PROPOSED ORDINANCES A An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMENT CHAPTER 36 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 1941, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION ES- TABLISHING AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS FOR THE USE BY TRUCKS AND COMMERCIAL VEHICLES OF A CERTAIN WEIGHT, MAKING THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE A MISDEMEANOR, AND AMENDING CHAPTER 36, SECTION 41, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF US VEGAS, NEVADA, 1941, FIXING SPEED LIMITS WITHIN THE CITY, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Jarrett and Whipple for report and recommendation. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 380, ALSO KNOWN AS CHAPTER 5 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 1949, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AUCTIONEERS AND AUCTIONS SALES IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; REQUIRING PERMITS FOR THE CONDUCT OF AUCTION SALES AND FIXING THE FEES THEREFOR; PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS FOR, THE DURATION AND MANNER OF THE CONDUCT OF AUCTION SALES; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE PROVISIONS THEREFOR: RE­PEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Bunker and Peccole for report and recom­mendation. RESOLUTION - Assessment C District No. 200-5 Commissioner Bunker introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, that pertain portion of the City of Las Vegas, hereinafter mentioned has been and is still without adequate sanitary sewer facilities, and WHEREAS, numerous requests have been had for the installation of sanitary sewers in the hereinafter mentioned portion of the City of Las Vegas, and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners are desirous that the citizens of this area be supplied with adequate sanitary sewer facilities, and WHEREAS, it appears that the sanitary sewers should be installed in and along the following described streets, and portions of streets and casements, to-wit; In Ashby Avenue from 115.77 feet East of the center line of Cashman Drive to Strong Drive; in the casement on the west side of Lots 3 and 16, Block 1, 385.00 feet North to existing sanitary sewer 6.00 feet North of the center line of Charleston Boulevard; in Campbell Drive, 385.00 feet North to ex­isting sanitary sewer 6.00 feet North of the center line of Charleston Boulevard; in Strong Drive from Ashby Avenue 663.55 feet North to the ex­isting sanitary sewer 6.00 feet North of the center line of Charleston Boulevard; all of above described area lying wholly within the McNeil Tract Subdivision. NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of August, 1951, that the City Engineer be and is hereby directed to prepare plats, diagrams and es­timates of cost for the installation a sanitary sewer system in and along the following described streets and portions of streets and casements, to-wit: In Ashby Avenue from 115.77 feet East of the center line of Cashman Drive to Strong Drive; in the casement on the west side of Lots 3 and 16, Block 1, 385.00 feet North to existing sanitary sewer 6.00 feet North of the center line of Charleston Boulevard; in Campbell Drive, 385.00 feet North to existing sanitary sewer 6.00 feet North of the center line of Charleston Boulevard; in Cahlan Drive 385.00 feet North to existing sanitary sewer 6.00 feet North of the center line of Charleston Boulevard; in Strong Drive from Ashby Avenue 663.55 feet North to the existing sanitary sewer 6.00 feet North of the center line of Charleston Boulevard; all of above described area lying wholly within the McNeil Tract Subdivision.
