[I?] the undersigned do hereby locate fifteen hundred feet for Mining purposes on this lead Lode or Ledge or Deposit of Silver bearing rock and ore to be Known and described as the Johnson Mine and running in a Easterly Direction 750 feet, also in a Westerly Direction 750 feet from the central monument on and along Said Lead Lode or Ledge or Deposit of Silver Bearing rock and ore and including 300 feet on each side here of for Mining and working purposes P Claim and intent to hold and work Said Claim and Mining Ground in accordance with the Mining Laws of the United State approved May 10th 1872 and in accordance with the Mining Laws of El Dorado Mining District
Lincoln County State of Nevada.
Said Mine is Situated about ¼ Mile North of the Empire Mine
