    Los Angeles - May 4, 1945 Mr. Frank Strong: (cc - Mr. W.R. Bracken Mr. Leo A. McNamee) You have a copy of Mr. McNamee's letter of May 2, 1945, in connection with Application No. 11077, filed by Griffith, to appropriate water at Las Vegas adjacent to our present wells. If it is essential that we drill Well No. 11, I think Mr. McNamee's suggestion is very appropriate that we should withdraw our protest to the Griffith application but believe that this is a matter that you should determine.
