Page - 3' The sum shown above, namely $ 107,680.35* was reduced by the Commission to permit a charge of 2.43$ thereof to go directly to the owner for the railroad use of water not handled by the Distribution company, therefore, the Commission allowed in the rates the sum of # 105,063.72 as 97.57$ of the total cost. The water District would have to carry the total cost under its management. The management expense entered in above tables covers charges which arise from remote control of the properties. It is reasonable to believe about the same charges would arise from clerical, auditing, etc expense in Las Vegas, and so no change was made of this item if under Water District. It is believed that the bonds of the Water District will be 30 year serials, bearing at least 3*5$. When allowance is made for bond redemption, the bond tables may show the total bond burden to b© 6,1,4. This figure may be subject to change as low as 5 o.6$ as may later develop* It is therefore shown from above that the Water District would reasonably bear an annual expense of f 86,384.79 for the charges arising in connection with the production of water from the wells and springs of the Production Company.
