!f| Commencing at a connection with existing 8" water main in Charleston Blvd., at the intersection of Bruce Street, thence northerly in Bruce Street with an 8" main approximately 250 feet to a point in Bruce Street 12 feet westerly of the southwest corner of Lot 1 in said Tract, thence easterly with a 6" main along the south line of Lots 1 to 10 inclusive approximately 6l2 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 10 of said Tract. Then commencing at a connection with the 6M main above referred to in the southeast corner of said Lot 10, thence extending northerly with a 6" fire line along the east line of said Lot 10 approximately 122 feet to an end in Lewis Avenue. The estimated cost of constructing said water main is the sum of $2990.00, exclusive of the aforesaid 122 feet of fire line, the expense of ,w hich shall be borne by the Subdivider. 2. Said water mains shall be constructed of 250 feet of 8" cast iron pipe and 73^- feet of 6" cast iron pipe and shall be in accordance with A ¥ ¥ A I specifications. All joints shall be of cement and all pipe shall be new B & S cast iron, equal to A ¥ ¥ A, Class 150. All valves and fittings shall be new, all bell, cast iron equal to A ¥ ¥ A, Class 150, and all valve boxes shall be cast iron of appropriate size for each valve. Unless otherwise provided by the approval of a duly authorized representative of the Company, all pipes, valves and fittings shall be manufactured by Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company or Mueller Company. All pipe lines shall be chlorinated in accordance with A ¥ ¥ A specifications, shall be subject to the approval and acceptance of State and City Health Authorities, and shall be constructed at an elevation to be designated by a duly authorized representative of the Company, but in no event shall there be less than 36” of covering over such water mains. All workmanship, material and the installation of said water main shall be subject to the approval and acceptance of a duly authorized representative of the company. - 2 - . ? . ' ?." ‘ - M:; ? ?
