Commissioner Moore moved the foregoing bids be referred to the City Manager and Comptroller for tabulation and recommendation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin. MINUTES Commissioner Moore moved the Minutes of February 14, 21 and 27, 1950 be approved by reference and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same; Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following, vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Moore moved Service & Material Warrants Nos. 1914 and 1916 to 1921 inclusive in WARRANTS the total sum of $21,419.13 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin, NOTICE OF SALE - Commissioner Moore moved the City Clerk be instructed to publish notice of the sale of the 14th St. Addn Bonds Las Vegas 14th Street City Addition Sanitary Sewer Bonds, and that April 7, 1950 at 3:00 P.M. be set as the date for the opening of bids. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin. JOB CLASSIFICATIONS Commissioner Bunker moved the matter of the job classifications for two employees of the Cemetery Cemetery Department be tabled. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin. LIQUOR APPLICATIONS Commissioner Moore moved the application of Ralph R. Heiges, Charleston Inn, 17 W. Charleston for a Retail Restaurant Beverage and a Retail Beverage license be referred to the Police Department for investigation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin. Commissioner Moore moved the application of Marguerite White, Log Cabin Bar, 122 North 1st Street for a Retail Tavern Liquor license be tabled. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent; Mayor Cragin. GAMING APPLICATIONS Commissioner Moore moved the application of Vegas Enterprises, Steak House Inc., 122 South 1st Street for 1 slot machine and the Las Vegas Club, 18 Fremont for one additional "21" table be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin. LIQUOR APPLICATION Commissioner Moore moved that pursuant to the favorable recommendation of the Police Depart- Wimpy’s Pick-a-rib ment that the application of Robert H. Featherstun, Wimpy’s Pick-a-Rib Joynt, 1516 South 5th Street for a Retail Restaurant Beverage liquor license be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin. LIQUOR APPLICATION Commissioner Moore moved the application of Malcolm C. Quelch, House of Steaks, 1409 South House of Steaks 5th Street for a Retail Restaurant Beverage license be tabled for further study. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin. PEDDLERS LICENSE Commissioner Moore moved the application of Howard B. Hollobaugh, Jr. for a Peddlers license APPLICANT be tabled and the Police Department be Instructed to investigate Mr. Hollobaugh. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Cragin. CIGARETTE APPLICATIONS Commissioner Moore moved the following applications for the Retail Sale of Cigarettes and Tobacco Products for the 1st quarter of 1950 be granted: Adams Grocery 111 North 9th Claude L.
