    ^ On Motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing and delivering letter-agreement, 0. L. D. No. 2797, dated October 14, 1939, addressed to Hanawalt Bros., 2151 D Street, La Verne, California, covering the furnishing of all necessary superintendence, labor, tools, equipment and trans­portation, and the construction of frame addition, approximate­ly 40 feet by 60 feet in size, on the east side of this com­pany's building at First and Palomares Streets, Pomona, California, now under lease to American Fruit Growers, Inc.; consideration $700; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Bracken in executing and delivering letter-agreement, dated October 23, 1939, addressed to Mr. C. D. Baker, Las Vegas, Nevada, covering the furnishing of all necessary superintendence, labor, tools and equipment required, and the replacement with 8,r cast iron pipe of certain portions of existing redwood water mains and laterals in the alley, between First and Main Streets, in Blocks 2, 5 and 6, Clark's Las Vegas Townsite, Las Vegas, Nevada; consideration $2,131.00; Las Vegas Land and Water Co. to furnish, without cost to said C. D. Baker, all necessary pipe, valves, fittings and lead for said re­placement; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly made and seconded, it was ? V -22
