1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 GRANT OF EASEMENT In consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, LOS ANGELES & SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY and its lessee, ONION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, Utah corporations, Grantors, hereby grant to LAS VEGAS VALLEY WATER DISTRICT, a public corporation of the State of Nevada, Grantee, its successors and assigns, right of way and easement for the construction, maintenance, operation, repair and replacement of power lines and appurtenances and appurtenant work upon, over and along the strip of land hereinafter described and called "easement strip" which extends across the lands of the Grantors, it being understood that the Grantors are contemporaneously herewith, by separate document, granting to the Grantee, its successors and assigns, a right ©f way and easement for the construction, maintenance, operation, repair and replacement of water pipe lines and appurtenances and appurtenant work under, upon and along the said easement strip. The Grantee, its successors and assigns, their officers, agents and employees, or any contractor, his agents or employees engaged by the Grantee, its successors and assigns, shall have the right to enter upon, pass and repass over and along, and to deposit tools, Implements and other materials upon, said easement strip whenever necessary for the purposes above set forth except that in exercising said right Grantee, its successors and assigns, shall not unreasonably interfere with existing uses or future uses (to the extent that said future uses may be consistent with the easement herein granted) of said easement strip by Grantors, their successors and assigns.
