Las Vegas, levada, February 4, 1923. Mr. H. f. Whyte, Chief Engineer, Pacific Fruit JBxpress Company, Ban Francisco, California. Dear sir: Kindly refer to your letter to me of Hovember 28th, 1922, in reference to relief for water shortage here in Lae Yegaa. At this time it does not seem as though there has been any preparation made for the correction of the over-supply of water used by your Company and I would respectfully call your attention to the fact that our spring season is very close at hand when there will be a heavy demand on us for water for towneite purposes, and must insist that there be an immediate action taken on the part of your Company for relief in the excessive amount of water used by the ice plant hers, or we will be compelled to place the same on a meter basis. but the demand for more water will.be upon us very suddenly and we must be prepared to take care of the same to avoid litigation and trouble with our City Commissioners. Will you kindly advise. We do not wish to be arbitrary in these matters Yours truly, B/H Vice-President & Agent. CC--C.F.Miller W.H.Cornstook
