A meet tog of the Executive Committee of the San Pedro, Los Angeles & Salt Lake Bail road Company was held at 165 Broadway, lew York City, on Friday, October 10th, 1913, at 1:00 p.m. Present: Directors W. A, Clark, B» Seger and B. C. Kerens. PURCHASE OF ADDITIOBAL LOCOMOTIVES President W. A. Clark reported that upon the recommendation of the General Manager that ten additional heavy freight engines he purchased in time to have them available for the winter traffic, on August 12th, 1913 he authorized the Special Committee to purchase about eight locomotives, giving them full discretionary power to order what they might deem to he a sufficient number. Whereupon, on motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that the action of the President in authorizing the Special Committee to purchase additional freight locomotives as above stated, be and hereby is approved. The President reported that on August 12th, 1913, he had authorized the Special Committee to conclude an agreement with the Delta Land & later Company with regard to the construction of a branch line from Delta, Utah, northwesterly a distance of 14 miles, to serve the irrigation project of the Delta Land & Water Company, in accordance with the recommendation of the Special Committee as
