PARADISE VILLAGE Commissioner Moore moved that the tentative map of Paradise Village, Tract #1, formerly Tentative Map Approved Nomellini Tract, be approved subject to the conditions set forth by the Planning Commission in their letter dated January 28, 1949 with the further condition that sidewalks be installed. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. PARADISE VILLAGE Commissioner Baskin moved that the final map of Paradise Village Tract #1 be approved upon the Final Map Approved recommendation of the Planning Commission as per their letter dated March 25, 1949. Further that the City Attorney be instructed to draw up the agreement and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same when presented. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Mr. Al Folgar of the Las Vegas Land & Water Co., Mrs. C. S. Wengert of the Southern Nevada Power Co., and Mr. Sam Lawson of the Southern Nevada Telephone Co., were present to signify willingness to install public utilities in the new proposed Paradise Village Tract. LAND USE ORDINANCE Commissioner Whipple moved that the City Attorney be directed to prepare the proper notices Amendment for the further amendment to the Land Use Ordinance No. 378, as amended, and that the Planning Commission be requested to approve an amendment to Ordinance No. 381 under section C so that the total lot area be 6,000 sq. ft., and exclude the depth of the lot. V Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. CLAIM OF CHAS. BARBEE The claim of Charles Barbee against the City of Las Vegas in the sum of $25,000.00 was pre- sented at this time, for injuries received when the sewer mains were being laid on Fifteenth Street. This matter was rejected by the Board and referred to the City Attorney for reply. READVERTISE FOR SALE Commissioner Whipple moved that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare the proper notice OF CITY LAND for the readvertisement for the sale of City property located on the Los Angeles Highway. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. from LETTER FROM HEALTH His Honor read a letter/the Health Department relative to requiring that Health Certificates DEPARTMENT be presented at the time of issuance of licenses.
