GRADUATE ADVISOR'S REPORT
October 1995
Kappa Xi will have their Rush Party On Saturday, October 21,
1995, at 6:00pm. They will be meeting at the Center for
Religious on the Campus at U.N.L.V. They plan on having their
intake on November 3, 4, & %, 1995. They will distribute flyer
on campus beginning on Monday, October 9, 1995.
There will be four members of Kappa Xi Chapter attending the
Ethel Hedgeman Lyle Leadership Forum in East Lansing, Michigan.
The forum dates are October 13 - 15, 1995. They are Denise
Williams, Delisa Brownlee, Sherita Saulsberry, and Shawana
McCurdy. They would like to Thank Theta Theta Omega for their
generous donation of $300.00 to help offset the cost of this
conference. I will also be attending this forum.
The next meeting for Kappa Xi Chapter will be on Sunday, October
8, 1995, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Moyer
Student Union at U.N.L.V.
The next Theta Theta Omega joint meeting with Kappa Xi is
scheduled for November 12, 1995. They will be the hostesses of
this meeting. It will be held at U.N.L.V. at 6:30pm in the Moyer
Student Union.
Kappa Xi members were present at an AKATEEN step practice and
help a few of the young ladies learn step routines in preparation
for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade.
