Cory2 I have your letter of May 22nd, your file W 23- 1-112-1, regarding amount of liability to be stated in policies of title insurance covering easements for new distribution pipe lines. I understand that Mr. Gory and Mr. Hammlll have discussed this matter with Mr. Sweeney, of the Pioneer Title insurance Company, and have suggested that In arbitrary amount of $1,000 be stated In each such oolicy regardless of the length of pipe line involved. It is^my view that this arrangement will be satisfactory because it is substantial enough to assure that the title company will do a careful Job of invest gating the titles covered by the policy. E.
