I agree.September 7, 1966 Dear Sandy, Thought you might like to see the attached copy of the letter from Dick Frey about Sports Illustrated coming out to cover the Bridge Tournament. I thought the best way to handle the reser- vations was through the regular procedure which we have set up and you and I can de- cide later what to do about comping the rooms as Press people, if you agree. I hope by now the posters are in New York and you have all of the material you need. I spoke to Andy Luther today and he was very happy about our changing the brochure to show the Congress Card instead of the Bee. While this did cost us extra money, I think it will pay off because he has now volunteered to supply all of the Congress Playing Cards we will need for the Tourna- ment. I am trying to find out the number that will be needed from Freddie Sheinwold and will get back to Luther. Will be talking to you again shortly. Kindest regards.
