On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action on May 25, 1940, of Vice President Strong in accepting and approving on behalf of this Company letter, dated May 24, 1940, signed by Lynch Construc­tion Company and The Aetna Casualty and Surety Company, ad­dressed to Las Vegas Land and Water Company, agreeing to submit to arbitration controversy between said Lynch Construction Com­pany and this Company in connection with construction by the former of warehouse building and office building, covered by Contract Audit No. 9984, dated June 24, 1939, for sale to Val Vita Pood Products, Inc., Fullerton, California; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of President and Assist­ant Secretary Rigdon in executing grant deed, Audit No. 4465, dated June 7, 1940, favor The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Pe Railway Company, conveying a portion of Lot 5, Tract 5205, in the City of Arcadia, California, for use by that company in connection with grade separation at Huntington Drive; consideration $375; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong and Secretary in executing rider, dated June 12, 1940, termin­ating effective June 15, 1940, lease Audit No. 9764, dated December 24, 1935, (as extended by Audit No. 9764-1, dated -11-
