Smith and Mr. Maag and have arranged that LVL&W Co. will take over operation and m&int&inence water production facilities as of 12:01 AM August 1 # 1953* Supt. Smith upon Instructions Sen. Mgr. Hanson has issued notices abolishing Railroad positions affected. Two Railroad employees have expressed desire accept temporary positions with Water Co. effective August 1, 1953 and Railroad has arranged to grant 90 day leave of absence. Necessary additional forces to conduct operation will be obtained from existing Water Co. employees who are now being instructed in operation of production facilities so that there will be no interruption in service. Local Power Co. will furnish such forces as may be necessary to handle emergency power line work and local pump concern will assist if emergency pump repairs required* After reviewing present organization recomend wire authority for following LVL & W Co, personnel effective August 1, 1953 all of which will be subject kO hour week prescribed by Fair Labor Standards Act. 1 ~ Foreman at (12.25 per hour This will be a working foreman and la required to assist Supt. in supervision of both production and distribution facilities. k - Repairmen at #2.00 per hour. These employees one of which will be a relief man are required to operate production facilities. 1 « General Clerk at 1.85 per hour. This employee will handle payrolls, material requisitions
