than was anticipated by either the Contractor or the District at the time Change Order No. 4 was issued. Therefore, it is recommended that the contract time for completion be extended to March 6, 1956. This would allow 15 of the 30 days requested. Kenmir" A motion was duly made by Director Coulthard, seconded by Director Miller, and unanimously approved by the seven Directors present, that upon the recommendation of the Engineer, an extension of time of 15 days be granted to Wells—Stewart and Industrial Construction Company under Specification No. 4, Schedule I. SPECIFICATION NO. 4. SCHEDULE II - EXTENSION OF TIME The Board considered a letter from J. M. Montgomery dated January 30, 1956, recommending an extension of time on Specification No. 4, Schedule II. Manager Renshaw took exception to some of the reasons for granting the extension. He did not feel the contractor was entitled to as much time as was recommended. He suggested the matter be set over until he had an opportunity to discuss the matter further with Mr. Kenmir. No action was taken, the matter being deferred until the next meeting. ELECTION FOR DIRECTORS - APPROVAL OF SCHEDULE Manager Renshaw submitted a proposed schedule to cover the forthcoming election for Directors April 3» 1956. Following a brief discussion, a motion was duly made by Director Cornwall, seconded by Director Rosevear, and unanimously approved by the seven Director present, that the schedule be approved and the Manager be authorized to proceed as outlined. Secretary Miller appointed W. C. Renshaw, L. Loren and Mary Jean Barozzi as assistant secretaries to handle the District registrations at large. The Board also authorized the Manager to establish the new'polling places and to secure election workers for the election. SPECIFICATION NO. 4. SCHEDULE I - PROPOSED CHANGE IN SLOPE TREATMENT The following letter from J. M. Montgomery dated February 6, 1956 recommending a change in the slope treatment of the Charleston Heights Reservoir was studied by the Directors. "Mr. W. C.
