Las Vegas Ranch - New well: Las Vegas, Aug. 26th, 1939. W 12-1-12 Mr. Frank Strong, Vice President, LVL&WCo., Los Angeles, Cal. Dear Sir: Confirming our phone conversation this morn-ing, in connection with new wall to be drilled for lessee of Las Vegas Ranch, referred to in your tele-grams S-18 and S-22, I enclose herewith: (a) Coat estimate (b) Print of location (c) Signed contract We do not expect that it will be necessary to drill deeper than 300 feet to secure the desired flow, and have prepared our estimate on that basis. The 7 inch 0D casing is on hand here in Las Vegas, on which we have secured an excellent price due to an inadvertent overstock by the manufacturer. Requisition has bean placed through the Purchasing Agent for the 3-inch pipe needed to take the water from the well across the highway to the Ranch. The print we are enclosing is one prepared by Chief Engineer in connection with highway easement to the State of Nevada a few years ago, and the location of the wall will be directly opposite the Ranch house. After the contract has been executed on behalf of our company, will you kindly return both originals to me so I can secure General Attorney's approval to execution, and he will distribute copies. An extra copy is enclosed herewith for your file. Yours very truly, WALTER R. BRACKEN, Vice President.
