Mr. Bennett in the opening paragraph of his letter of the 2 1st says that there may be some alight modifications which will occur as a result of a final check. Along this line we found on review a few provisions which in our judgment might be clarified, and our suggestions have been communicated to Mr. Bennett by *phosc* He will work them out and anticipates no serious objections from the attorney representing the District* in Los Angeles requesting that he confer with Mr* Bennett* 1 am advised that this conference has been held and that at Mr. Perkins* direction his department here has reviewed a draft of the agreement* Mr* Bennett points out that the principal change of importance in the present draft over the draft submitted, in March of this year has to do with the performance of and the payment for the work of construction, relocation end removal of pipe and wire lines, the procedure is spelled out in Section $ of the draft beginning on page 2lj..
