Las Veg&a - May 5# 3.9**® a 2-66 Mr. Frank gtrongi In connection with Lease Audit Mo. 8448 in favor of 01ty of Las Vegas covering City Stockade located just west of our Industrial Tract, south of Bonanza Hoad, which expires September 30, 1948 i The 01ty Manager has requested an exten­sion of the lease and wishes to have its limits ex­tended to include frontage on Bonanza Hoad in order that the 01ty Barns, now located In the 01ty Hark, oan be consolidated in this seotion of the town. The present lease Is about 20®* x 20®1 square and is located 31Gf south of the center line of Bonanza Hoad. We have previously advised the 01ty that they could not expeot more than one (1) years ex­tension because the land will be required for other purposes, but it is my recollection that subsequent­ly the question arose of the City receiving carload shipments of oil on this sits for sprinkling the City streets if spur track were extended to servo that dlstrlot.
