I agree.also be advisable to do this at las Vegas. I think that the Railroad Company should provide a place for its trainmen when off duty, and that a good and substantial building should be erected at las Vegas for that pur- • ' pose, the building to have a large reading room, a place for games and a large dormitory or several small rooms, a lavatory, bath and closets. I have seen the blue prints attached to the appropriations covering the expenditures to be made at the three points named above, and hope that if anything is done at Las Vegas a building which would be more attractive in appearance might be erected there. Las Vegas is a very hot place in summer, and, if a place is provided, as I think it should be, for the trainmen, one should be provided which is comfortable, cool, airy, and, considering the amount of money that the company has invested at that point, I think it should also he attractive. If anything comes of the proposition made by Mr .Brown to purchase all the unsold lots at Las Vegas, the company should hold out from that sal® enough lots to enable them to put up a building fir the trainmen. Yours truly, Vice President
