AKATEENS
This summer a slumber Party was held at the Home of Soror Rosa Henair. It was a nice affair. The young ladies were able to swim, play tennis, and just sit around and talk.
Soror Kechia Thomas-English and Soror Jacqueline Hall were in attendance at the slumber party.
A AKATEEN committee meeting is scheduled for September 14, 1994, at the Home of Soror Thomas-English. 6444 Winding Ridge Way, #437-1274. The meeting will begin at 6:30pm
The first AKATEEN function will be on September 24, 1994. This will be an informational/get acquainted meeting for the young ladies and their parents. The place and time have yet to be arranged. Letters will be sent to all os the AKATEENS as soon as a place is found. Sorors will also be notified.
Please turn in all profile sheets. We don't want to miss anyone or leave anyone out.
The workshops will be held once a month and a social activity will be held once a month. this will allow us to meet with the young ladies on two occasions. Soror, the committee will need you assistance at these workshops and social activities. The undergraduate chapter has agreed to work with the young ladies in preparation for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade.
PLEASE SUPPORT THIS IVY ACADEMY PROGRAM!!!
Respectfully Submitted,
Kechia Thomas-English AKATEEN Chairperson
