ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 100-35 The Commission considered the request received from V. C. Mendenhall Co. Inc., for a 20-day extension 15-day extension of time to complete the work on Contract #111D.9. The contract granted completion date was November 8, 1958. It is the recommendation of the Engineering Department that they be allowed an extension of twenty days to permit them to complete the work which would extend the completion date to November 28, 1958. Commissioner Whipple moved that the recommendation of the Engineering Department for an extension of twenty days be allowed the V. C. Mendenhall Co. Inc. to complete the work on Contract #111D.9. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. BID NO. 58.34 The Commission considered the recommendation of the Engineering Department that the Painting Exteriors at Antonsen Painting Company, 1511 South "A" Street be awarded the contract for the painting City Hall & Police Station of the exteriors of the City Hall and Police Station and Jail, Bid No. 58.34, Contract #511H.11, in the total amount of $4,455.00. This bid is the lowest of two bids received Award for performance of the work. Commissioner Whipple moved that the Bid No. 58.34 for painting the exterior of the City Hall and Police Station be awarded to the Antonsen Painting Company, 1511 South "A" Street in the total amount of $4,455.00. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. QUITCLAIM DEED The Commission considered acceptance of the Quitclaim Deed to the City of Las Vegas by R.J. R.J. & Eva M. Kaltenbom and Eva Mae Kaltenbom for the north 40 feet of portion of NE¼, NE¼, Section 32, T20S, R61E, to City of Las Vegas for West Fremont Street Extension; also part of east 30 feet of NE¼, NE¼, Section 32, T20S, R61E, R61E, for Tonopah Drive. Resolution of Acceptance Adopted Commissioner Bunker moved the following Resolution of Acceptance be adopted and order made: RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE OF QUITCLAIM DEED On motion of Commissioner Wendell Bunker, duly seconded by Commissioner Reed Whipple, and carried unanimously, the following Resolution is Adopted, and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 19th day of November, 1958, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the deed, dated the 4th day of November, 1958, executed by R. J. Kaltenbom and Eva Mae Kaltenbom, husband and wife to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes of streets; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that the same be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and this resolution be filed in the records of this Board.
