On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing letter-agreement, C.L.D. No. 4327, dated August 29, 1942, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and G. 0. Gartz, Contractor, covering replacement of approximately 2280 sq. ft. of existing concrete floor with brick floor in second story of building occupied by The Rath Packing Co., 1150 East First Street, Los Angeles, California; consideration: Actual cost to Contractor of payroll, materials and drayage, plus fixed fee of $200, and reimbursement of permits, fees, sales, use and payroll taxes, and cost of surety bond, but no exceeding the sum of $2,200; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong and Secretary in executing rider, C.L.D. No. 4253, dated July 7, 1942, extending to August 31, 1943, term of lease agreement, Audit No. 10033, dated September 1, 1939, expiring August 31, 1942, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and H. Simpson, covering permission to use for agricultural purposes only certain land of this Company, located in Tract No. 7207, near East Los Angeles, California; rental for extended term $35.00, payable on or before June 30, 1943; subject to revocation by this Company upon 30 days' written notice; -6-
