In statistics covering the years 1944 through 1947, a sharp in-1 I crease in gross revenue was not-; ed by the Southern Nevada Tele­phone company, Las Vegas Land and Water company and the Southern Nevada Power com-j pany, according to the commis-i I sion. Gross revenue to the telephone! 'company jumped from $358,372! in 1944 to $584,635 in 1947; the (water company’s collections in-! ! creased from $134,801 to $179,038 while the power company showed a gain during the same period of (from $831,067 to $1,324,950. Gross corporate incomes re- I ported to the state commission (by the utilities for the year 1947 were: Southern Nevada Tele- i phone company, $77,448 on a book [investment of $1,014,453; Las Ve- (gas Land and Water company, a i loss of $838 on a book investment i of $501,956 and Southern Nevada ! Power company, $357,660 and $10,830,907. . |
